One of the most important features determining the quality of protective clothing is the type of material used in their production, as well as the type of material used to strengthen selected zones. It is, among others reinforcements affect the durability and strength of protective clothing. The most frequently used fabrics for this purpose are OXFORD and RIP STOP fabrics.
WHAT IS OXFORD 300D AND 600D FABRIC?
Extremely durable and strong OXFORD fabric is a material characterized by the visibility of fibers and a braid weave.
The material is very resistant to various types of abrasions and abrasions, which means that it can be used in sensitive places, such as around the knees or elbows, as well as pockets. Cleaning clothes made of OXFORD fabric is not complicated or expensive. In many cases, when removing stains and dirt, it is best to wipe with a sponge using soap and warm water. Gentle cleaners can also be used, but avoid those containing solvents and bleaches as they can damage the material.
The thickness of the yarn from which the fabric is made defines the thickness of the fabric. The 600D marking indicates that the fabric is made of thinner yarn than 300D, which makes it more delicate and pleasant to touch.

WHAT IS RIP STop fabric?
RIP STOP is a fabric reinforcement technique consisting in weaving higher strength fibers into the fabric at constant intervals. The determinant that allows you to easily recognize the RIP STOP fabric is the characteristic texture on the surface – a convex grille. The material reinforced in this way is very strong and durable. In the case of local damage, it does not fray or unravel. So there is no risk of further damage to the material. Due to its durability properties, it is a great choice for the production of both protective and outdoor clothing, which is most often exposed to adverse weather conditions and possible abrasions during use. The RIP STOP technique is most often used to reinforce polyester and nylon.
