PN-EN 420 + A1:2010 standard is the basic standard that defines the requirements that all protective gloves must meet. It defines, among others, basic requirements for marking, packaging, design and construction of gloves, resistance of the materials used to water penetration and comfort of use. Moreover, it specifies:
- PH value (3.5 < PH <9.5)
- Chromium content that should be lower than detectable levels (<10 ppm)
- natural rubber gloves shall be tested on extractable proteins in accordance with EN 455-3 standard
